Neophytes

Neophytes are those apprentices who are trying to become worthy of the Church.  It is a long and tortuous battle which begins with a solemn vote amongst all CoF members for Neo status.  Neophytes are required to wear the above picture in their delphi signature.  

As the apprenticeship progresses, the neophytes are required to prepare themselves for the ultimate test; A journey to the fabled land known only as the Lower Peninsula.  There, from natural sources such as fir trees and Wal-Mart, they are required to fashion themselves a restraining device for a mammal only known as Oreamnos americanus.

The device must restrain the Oreamnos americanus for at least  a bakers dozen pies minus 3, converted to seconds, or however long it takes them.  After this, the Oreamnos americanus may be set free, it knows its way home.

Next, a second vote will be taken by the CoF members, for full membership of the Neo in all of the Church's activities.  This vote will never come before 3 weeks; The Neo must have time to be know amongst the members of the Church.  The neophyte will be judged on conduct, ability, wit, and donative propensity.
